Cousin Conspiracy III: Camden Narrates

Camden, here. I wasn't alive for the first two cousin conspiracies and since I'm still not old enough to actively join in, I'll be narrating today.

I think my brother Carter and my cousin Bryanna are pretty crazy kids. Watching them play makes me want to take a nap.

This particular day they were getting into all sorts of trouble.

It started when Bree gave Carter a toy she was playing with... Something to do with the "sharing is good" theory that adults are always throwing out there. I advised against it but she just called me "Baby Namnam" and patted my head like a typical 2 year old.

Then came present time. Bree had this down by now and knew exactly what to do with her wrapped package from Grandma and Grandpa. You could've fit me in that thing!

It turned out to be a sleeping bag with a puppy-head pillow. Carter and I have sleeping bags, too, but ours were at home. At first Bree was willing to share hers with Carter.

It wasn't long, though, before she got bored with this. When she realized the parents weren't watching she decided to risk throwing away the "sharing is good" line. It was time to take matters into her own hands.

Girl power! (Ugh, whatever.)

Of course Carter played along and pretended to be happy, too.

...But it was all just part of his plan. We boys are not stupid; we know a girl's priorities. He tempted Bree with his new toy... A cell phone.

For awhile, all was well. The troublemakers gave Auntie Kari their not-so-innocent grins.

But then Carter realized Bree was using his phone to call up all of her boyfriends! He hoped taking the phone back would solve that problem for 16 or so more years. Before he could make his move, though, Bree was off and running!

When he finally caught up with her she pretended to give him a loving hug, but I knew what was really going on when Carter started gasping for breath.

Auntie Kari thought it was oh-so-cute but I couldn't believe my eyes!!

Luckily Auntie Kari figured it out quickly and stepped in to solve the problem via distraction: box rides!

This plan worked surprisingly well... Until Auntie Kari became exhausted from pushing around a combined 40 or so pounds of kid. Bree yelled "Anne Kawi, GO, GO!" and "I DON'T WANNIT!" but she soon ran out of vocabulary and realized if anything was to get done, she'd have to do it herself.

Carter caught on quickly and even gave Bree a turn!

I guess adults are right, sometimes. Sharing is okay.

I love your stories, you always seem to know just what they are thinking, My Parents LOVE them too. Good way for them to see more of their grandkids.
