We've had a great time with the friends here in Mexico. There are 12 here in Cabo. One of the women picked all 5 of us up in the truck for the mtgs. Dad and Uncle Errol rode in the truck bed and Mom, Aunt Glenna and I squished in the front and backseat of the cab. She brought her oldest granddaughter, too. Her name is America and she is 6. Of course the truck was full so America perched on the armrest in between the driver's seat and the passenger's seat. Seatbelts here are more of a luxury than a necessity. If there is one available, it is for an adult.
Every mtg is at the one home:

After mtg we went to have dessert with one of the friends, Francisco. He is 28 and speaks a little English. Between his English and Aunt Glenna's bit of Spanish and my bit of Spanish we did very well! From him we learned of some of the friends in other areas, and conventions. He told me twice that I speak very good Spanish! (Thanks to you profesora Roa.) He also taught us some words we wouldn't learn from a classroom pertaining to mtgs. I got his email and also the email of another girl here who is 17 and learning English. Her name is Melissa. Hopefully we can help each other along with our languages! She gave her testimony in Spanish and then did her best to translate for us. The others in the meeting are mostly women and several little kids who aren't old enough to take part yet. Also a boy who I would guess to be about 14 or 15. They are few but very hearty and welctoming! We felt right at home.
Today we stopped by one of their shops.
Here we are in the shop with the lady who runs it, Alejandra. She works here with her husband, who also runs a fishing boat, when people are interested. They have 2 kids.
We had fun shopping, Dad got a couple of shirts, Mom and I got some skirts. On our way back we stopped at a coffee shop.

I have to say, everytime I've traveled the most interesting part of my trip has been getting to know the friends! I would love to come back here someday soon to see them again.
