"Vegetation Control"

In hunting for apartments today Kyle and I were driving through a neighborhood. Right beside a school we happened past this little fenced-in area full of grass and weeds and... well the pictures explains the rest. I love how Sumner defines "vegetation control".

Days go by...

Well I'm up here in Seattle and... I hear rain again! We had some beautiful days at convention (in more than one way) and some relaxing, sunny days in Victoria with mom and dad but now back in Washington for the past 2 days it's been raining pretty steadily. I notice it saps my energy a bit during the day... It's something I am definitely going to have to get used to since it'll be my home starting next April!
Thanks to everyone for the well-wishes on our engagement... It's really nice to be up here with Kyle since after we got engaged I didn't see him for 3 weeks! I've been up here a week and a half and I'm halfway through my trip... As expected it's going too fast. 3 weeks away from Kyle seems longer than 3 weeks with Kyle but I guess that's a good thing!
Anyway just a short update. Kyle's parent's computer is slow like a sloth but I will try to post some pictures on Kyle's computer within the next couple of days.

105 degrees

You know it's hot when you burn yourself on your seatbelt buckle and again on the metal part of your car-keys when you're getting out of the car. An ice-cold grande green-tea frap never tasted so good.

Carter's 2nd Birthday

Last Saturday we had a birthday party at our house for Carter, who officially turned 2 on Sunday. Carter had a Thomas the train-themed party. He had an awesome train cake...

Cammy hangin' out with Uncle KevinI can't believe time passes so quickly and my oldest baby nephew is already 2!!! I guess I can't call him my "baby" nephew anymore... He's growing up so fast and is such a little man now! Seems like just yesterday we were meeting him in the hospital for the first time... It was just Bree and him... And now in October there will be 5 little munchkins!
