Life and Igloos

My life at the moment is like this blog... unorganized and without real direction. But I've learned that life keeps you on your toes and it doesn't stay boring or uneventful for very long... Good times come around again.

Believe or not, Vegas gets cold in the winter. The desert definitely can be a place of extremes. Not that we get piles of snow or anything but when you are used to the temperature hovering between 80 and 115 degrees for 9 months out of the year, that initial drop can be shocking to the system.

Soo, Raj finally got a new (and extra large) dog igloo to sleep in at night. His crate is old and as it's open on all sides it provides virtually no protection from the cold, wind, or rain. He's only 6 this month but the igloo should keep him comfortable as he gets a bit older, too.

It took him a night or two but after we put a quilt in there for him he got used to it quickly. It's very high tech: insulated and has a little air vent on the top. As you can see, he really likes it!

Hi Kari - Glad to see your back. I've been thinking of you and I hope everything is going ok for you. I love the igloo for roo. An igloo in las vegas, I love it.

Hi Kari! Nice to see your new "Corner." We will have to update our blog - it is so nice to be able to keep up with all of my cousins on the other coast. It doesn't feel quite as far away....
Love,
Kelly
