It's 2008! My new year started off in Arizona with lots of cheering and the boom of dry ice bombs, which is a lot more than I can say for the start of some peoples' new year! One of the guys who was in charge of the dry ice bombs had one blow up in his hand and spent his first night of 2008 in the hospital with a broken thumb...
This is where I welcomed the new year:
Apparently John and I were not enough entertainment for Brent on the 5 hour drive to Arizona.
Once we arrived, however, there was plenty of entertainment, in the form of games...
pool...
music...
warm fires...
and... well.
