Kyle and I went to Seattle for the Mariners game on Monday evening.
This building on the lower right is the Smith Tower. It's the oldest skyscraper in Seattle (completed in 1914) and was the tallest west of the Mississippi until 1931. Read more about it here.
The M's played the Boston Red Sox.
The chandelier is actually made out of glass baseball bats. It was designed by Dale Chihuly, the same guy who made the glass flowers in the Bellagio lobby.
The view from our seats: it was a beautiful day and they had the roof open for the whole game.
Baseball superstitions are really funny-- Ichiro extends his right arm and pulls his sleeve up every time.
The Mariners lost (as they have been doing lately) but it was a fun game.
